@loh, I'm happy to hear back. I'll be curious how soon the aches go away. Good thinking to get your calcium levels tested anyway. You might be fine on a lower dose of Tymlos.

I'm wondering if you stopped Tymlos.
I don't think we should be tolerate side effects.
For lots of us these standard doses are simply too high.
Amazing windyshores. She just figured out how to lower the dose and then told her doctors. So now her doctors are advising their patients about how to lower the dose.
Tymlos also contains a preservative that some are allergic to. A reaction to the preservative could alternatively cause leg aches.
Forteo is a lower dose of medication, less likely to cause hypercalcemia and doesn't have the preservative, which is why it needs refrigeration.
Did the aching go away after stopping the drug. Do you remember how long it took?
