Hello @my44,

So nice to get to know you! I'm happy that you found Connect and began posting. It is so encouraging to meet others who have been helped by the members of Connect and who, like you, go on to help and encourage others. Serious health issues are journeys that are best taken with others and you have done this well.

Thank you, @rosemarya, for introducing us to @my44.

Hi, @hopeful33250

Thank you for reading my interview and responding with such kind words. I am happy that I found Connect because of the helpful posts I read here, including yours.

Although I don't deal with some of the issues that you have, I do occasionally pop into some of your support groups. I appreciate your openness and transparency that I know help others in your groups. I was impressed when I saw in one of your posts a few days ago how candid you were about your initial fear after a particular scan. I believe your candidness helps others who receive scary medical reports to identify with you and realize that it's okay to admit their vulnerabilities, express their true feelings, and face their fears...knowing that you and others are there supporting them, and they are not alone. I love and totally agree with you when you say: "Serious health issues are journeys that are best taken with others." Absolutely!
