Hi; I've been dealing with type 2 for 27 years, read extensively, and have been on several forums.
Although I'm not particularly a fan of metformin (never did much for me/not nearly as effective as exercise), I've never heard or read anything bad about it -- only good.
Can you please tell us more about those negative articles, or provide a link?
