@eete, is this a new diagnosis for you? Do you know what type of rectal cancer you have, for example: adenocarcinoma (most common) or neuroendocrine/carcinoid tumor? Have you talked about treatment options with your team yet?

I'm 55 and fairly healthy. I has Stage 3 mid rectal cancer. Achieved a complete clinical response 10 weeks after completion of treatment. They had want to perform TME after only 4 or 6 weeks after treatment but my radiation oncologist encouraged me to wait a full 10 weeks before scope mri and CT. Had to FIGHT the surgeon and demand the extra wait for test results. Soooo glad I waited!
