I purchased used, both Exercise for Better Bones and Strengthen Your Core. I was about to start with the second book when I fractured my L3.
I purchased her on-line program- Living With Compression Fractures to support this new daily challenge I have.
You can find endless free information from her melioguide.com site.
I have benefitted more from her work than any other source. She is devoted to the care of osteoporosis.
Sorry that I didn’t address your question, was I able to work through Margaret’s exercises on my own?
I was but that is my preference, I like to work independently and feel this to be a trusted and safe source of guidance.
If you know yourself to do best in an in person or group situation, it may not be for you. Good luck and safety in your search!
I bought the book, Exercise for Better Bones, and also the accompanying exercise program which you buy and download from her website. They are designed to work together. I believe one purchase allows you access to each level of her program, which gives you a daily program of exercises. I did a 6 day a week program, with 3 different sets of exercises done twice each week. There are also video clips of her doing and explaining most of the exercises. I was quite dedicated for 4 months or so, but now I mostly integrate the exercises into my own daily mix of exercises and videos for variety. I learned a lot from the program and find it a valuable resource.
