You are so right about going off Cymbalta. My experience is way too long of a story so to sum it up...I was on it for years. Then I was having balance andmemory problems plus the shakes. Went to the neurologist and more meds. Things just got worse and I still can't drive and have much difficulty with remembering words for objects, feelings and description words. I've been off all those meds for 8 years now. But in researching Cymbalta and side effects when taken for years I was shocked at what I found online. Several sites and pages of reviews of those who had been on it for years. I learned from there just how to come off Cymbalta. Just missing a dose gives you what I call electrical shocks in your brain! No fun at all. So yes it's a process as in months to reduce down to being done. I will say that Not everyone is the same, for the sake of it but too many people have gone through too much!!! It should be taken off the market for good. But it would just reappear with a different name I suppose. Example Gabapentin for seizures now given for everything and has been named by some as the new opioid!!! It's addictive too. Thanks just needed to agree with you on going off 😉
