God IS with you. Always.

My husband had a benign pituitary adenoma which was a tumor resting on his optic nerve. The first symptoms he had something wrong was tremendous anxiety and depression. He had no choice for surgery as he was told because the tumor was pressing on the optic nerve he might go blind. Surgery (through the nose) was successful (done 13 years ago). He was then put on (By the pituitary clinic at Strong Hospital/Rochester NY Growth hormone injection, testosterone hormone gel, and thyroid hormone pill. Also initially was put on vasopressin as he had symptoms like Diabetes Insipid is- but the vasopressin eventually was removed as the pituitary began to somewhat repair itself.
He gets a yearly MRI of the brain to see if the pituitary tumor would return plus all hormones are checked. He is 75 years old now (still takes his hormones) and he has the energy of a person 20 years younger and has a normal weight for his height. That's what good hormone levels do for you! Who knows-out of the ashes of despair might come something good for you.

Absolutely encouraging news to hear. It’s just been so up and down for me. Ready to have a “normal” life again.
