Started the 4.5 on Monday and all was well of course but different story yesterday. At the gym in the morning I kept giving up on each bit of equipment and then trying again and failing so went home. Gave myself a good talking to and decided doing my favourite thing in the world would help. So dog in car and drove to our nearest countryside walk. Still got a bit of wild weather here in the UK but that just made it more fun. I even started thinking that on Thursday I could put trail running shoes on and really have some fun. The grassy muddy path we were walking on is in between two quite deep water ways. A Deer appears over one side and that is the first one my young Dob has seen and she was off. Like most Dobermann she will walk round a puddle rather then getting her paws wet so I knew she would not go in the water. After 5 minutes she gave up and I realised I had not got stressed. In the afternoon the pain started in my right hand. Then seemed like all my right side so I went to bed and the warmth helped a lot. Pain stopped after a couple of hours. Feeling much better this morning. I am aware that for adrenal health the Vit B’s are so important so getting some Vit B complex. They will of course take a few weeks to kick in but will be interesting to see if they help. I can then stop having Marmite on toast as that was starting to annoy me. Sun will be shinning this morning so off for a lovely dog walk on the beach.

Sounds like you're definitely making the best of the situation and listening to your body as well - all good!

Good luck to you!

Loved your post, and your great attitude. I started 5 yesterday, and so far so good. Of course that doesn’t mean much, as it usually takes a few days for my body to rebel. But I have learned to stick it out with Tylenol and Voltaren, and it usually passes. I will do almost anything to get off the dreaded pred. The side effects keep coming. I recently developed cataracts out of nowhere, and my swollen feet/ankles are worse than ever. Discouraging.
