Relationship between endometrium cancer and DIPNECH

Senior diagnosed with DIPNECH July 2022, breast cancer August 2023 and endometrium cancer (hysterectomy) December 2023. Under treatment for all. Now just told that new DIPNECH nodes could be result of endometrium cancer. Can anyone tell me about this? I have decisions to make. Many thanks.

Is the endometrium cancer NETs? If not, I’m not sure how they would be related unless the DIPNECH is not really DIPNECH. What decisions are you trying to make? Have you had a lung biopsy?

I have DIPNECH and lung NETS that are related. I also have breast cancer that is not related. You can certainly have more than one kind of cancer.

@calimomma, I have the same question as @californiazebra. Is the endometrium cancer neuroendocrine related? Are you having to make treatment choices? How are you doing?

Is there any other treatment than OCTREOTIDE shots or any treatment in conjunction with the OCTROTIDE shots?

Hard to answer your question because you have a lot going on and I’m not clear if you have NETs. I’m taking octreotide injections for my DIPNECH/lung NETs and it’s extremely helpful for my respiratory symptoms. There are other treatments but not for me. You need to work with a NETs team that can review your specific case, possibly do more tests and then discuss any options. Still wondering if your endometrium cancer is NETs.
