Thank you for mentioning the gait. My husband walks like this and combined with osteoporosis, he walks slowly and tentatively. It is helpful to know that someone else understands. No doctors have addressed what might help, so i hired a personal trainer. The PT is working on my husband’s strength. ( this is another cost that is eating into our savings, but that is a different matter. )
The Mayo Clinic was one of the few that had my husband walk as part of the examination.
I am laughing at the fire department scene. Been there done that- and yes, had to laugh!
It's a lot to bear sometimes, right? It's no fun making all the decisions by yourself, hugs to you.
