Grounding Well Mats
Has anyone ever tried grounding well mats? They are used to help improve circulation, lessen pain, etc. My husband was recently told about this product from a friend who said he's had great results. We're thinking of buying one, just thought we'd see what anyone else has to say about using these for neuropathy and peripheral artery disease. Thanks for any advice. 😀

Thank you! I did look for some similar topics before posting, didn't see them. I appreciate the links!
I tried it but unfortunately it didn’t provide any pain reduction.
I've heard mixed reviews and appreciate your reply. Hope you're doing okay overall. Luckily, my husband just has numbness and tingling at this point. No pain yet. Just trying to be proactive. Carbon fiber shoes were also recommended. Lots of things to consider. 🙂
Hello @brucelowy, Welcome to Connect. I don't think you are alone. Have you tried any other complementary or alternative treatments for neuropathy?
I’ve tried numerous prescription and non prescription meds, lights, mechanical devices, exercise, PT, acupuncture, massage, nutrition programs, vitamins, minerals, yoga, psychological therapies, chiropractic, steroid injections, and myriad snake oil products with varying results. Unfortunately as my condition and pain changes so does the benefits of a specific treatment. Some have helped a little but I may loose confidence too early on a treatment before reaching its purported benefit. I’m searching for a cure for chronic pain (polyneuropathy, pinched nerves, venous insufficiency) that doesn’t have a cure. I refused cervical spine (C-60) surgery after suffering hiccups for weeks twice after injections and nerve blocks near C-6 . When the phrenic or vagus nerves are hit they innervate the diaphragm causing hiccups. I cannot chance intractable hiccups for months or years.
You've tried so many things. Shots can be scary, especially with the side effects you've mentioned. Makes me a little worried for what's to come for Dave. Wishing you the best.
