I’m 77. I have reached the age that if I died today no one would say “awww, she died young.” People die at my age all the time for many different reasons. A couple of years ago I downsized and got rid of LOTS of stuff. I am organizing. I have spoken to my daughter about where things are. What to do about my dogs. Made a will. Consolidated my finances. Made sure she is beneficiary on all my accounts. I have longevity in my family. My grandmother passed at 98 in her sleep and my mother died of Covid at 94. But, they didn’t have CVD.

I need a doctor that isn’t a statin pill pusher. Someone that statins are not their only show. I just need to know how much at risk I actually am. I eat clean, heart healthy, I’m not over weight, I exercise daily.

We sound so similar! My grandma died when she was 96 and I take after her physically in genetics and stature. I am so glad I found Repatha medication! I actually feel better. Those statins were awful feeling and painful for me.
