Nexletol - one post mentioned a bizarre side effect related to tendons. I had a tendon rupture in my left foot 25 years ago, and doctors could not even identify the problem for months other than very swollen and severe bruising, pain when walking. Ultimately, the tendon in my arch ruptured, laving me with a totally flat arch,
A couple of years ago my cardiologist prescribed this for me. I mentioned this side effect, listed in large print to tell your doctor if you had tendon problems, to my cardiologist and she said it was so rare I shouldn't worry about it. I went on that drug, took for a few months, and that rare tendon side effect did happen to me, with inflammation in my right foot and ankle, and up the back of my calf. I was in treatment for that for 3 months! Rare side effects do occur!
