You should stay and tell us how you were able to get off prednisone in a reasonable amount of time. I don’t think there is a single best way to achieve remission and taper off prednisone. I took prednisone for far too long so maybe you can tell me what I did wrong. The experts are people like you who can successfully taper off relatively quickly but they tend to disappear and move on.

DadCue, I have seen you around here, I have posted a good amount about how I think people should taper super slowly especially when getting below 7mg. And I was a vegetarian for over 30 years before this getting PMR and super healthy so I really don't have any answers. I don't know if there are answers when you own body attacks itself. I will post after seeing what my rheumatologist says.
