It looks like my following a nutritional plan of healthy eating for years, whole grains, oatmeal, a variety of vegetables and fruits, lean meats, etc may have to change temporarily. Not looking forward to white bread, pasta, and low fiber stuff.

Yep.....I was right there with you. Fortunately it was only for two weeks with my SBRT, but veggies and fruit were replace with just that........"wonder bread" and pasta.
