Hello Terwifwoods,

I believe i mostly have the same condition you do. Have you been able to figure out the cause yet? I am 44 years old and healthy. However, i do have a urethral stricture which over the years has led to mild thickening of the bladder wall. I can go 4-5 hours during the day without having any sensation to urinate. I produce about 50 percent of my urine during the evening. I have noticed one thing. If i stay in bed after a night of sleep i will continue to generate the urine. At first i thought it might have to do with just lying down but it does not appear to be that simple. After getting dilations for my stricture i would pee well during the day but this only seemed to last for awhile until the stricture closed up. The doctors are perplexed because most people with strictures have to go to the bathroom frequently. Have you had any luck figuring out what causes you to generate all your urine during the evening?

I was producing 2000+ ml at night and very little during the day. I was on a catheter for several months and had to use the 4000ml bag as I produced up to 3100 ml at night. I was trying everything and then went to using a Cpap. There was no change. I finally found out it was my blood pressure medication, morphine, I was taking it in the morning. I started taking it at night and everything went back to normal. I was retaining water during the day. I could have two large cups of coffee in the morning and go 5 hours without having to go. Now I am back to normal.
