I’m impressed that your doctor at least cares if you have a reaction to the full dose or not!! Mine was basically inject at night and be lying down or sitting when you do it in case you feel lightheaded. This forum (esp windyshores) helped me so much. I worked up to full dose and in the do it in the mornings, it took me 6 weeks to get there, and I have my first labs on Tuesday, 3 months in. Had to ask them to add P1NP (no one has ever done that) so at least I’ll have a baseline finally.
Thanks again to this forum for recommending “Great Bones” by Dr McCormick. Have learned so much!!!
I am currently searching for a new and better informed endocrinologist. I am so glad to have found this group!
Osteoporosis is life changing and not in a good way. I am 67 with 4 vertebral fractures so I know what I am talking about. Godspeed to all of you.

@jennirdh
My endocronologist doesnt order any baseline tests, other than my dexa scan. I’m going to insist on doing p1np before i start tymlos & repeat 3-5 months after i start. Yes, dr mcCormick has some useful information on the podcast I watched & am ordering his book today. This is all so confusing.
