I had the TAVR, they go through artery in groin.
There is no specific medication that helps. My cardiologist told me at the onset of stenosis that it will never get better, only worse.
I don’t want you to worry- you are doing well so far and in good shape.
If you start with getting out of breath- then you let them know and you can have another echo.
Your heart is basically healthy- no coronary artery disease.
If you feel worse, they will plan the procedure. You’ll feel normal afterwards. I was not normal before the operation. Now, I’m fine( at 80) and walk a lot and I’m back to tennis.
You won’t get heart failure- you are not symptomatic and you don’t have heart disease.
Before my surgery I got so short of breath going from bedroom to kitchen and had to rest. You are not there.
The cardiac cath showed normal coronaries!
That’s part of the work up before surgery. They also did a full body CT angiogram.
Funny thing- Mick Jagger had same surgery at the same time. He’s also 80+!
He’s back to performing on stage.
