One more day of 5mg to go. Definitely felt much better yesterday and today even better. Spring cleaned the front room at 6 am then weight training at the gym and managed to lift a few heavier weights which is why I now have that delicious muscle pain after some hard work. Someone even remarked that I looked happier and not struggling anymore, which I thought was really nice. Going to use 4.5mg for 2 or 3 days before dropping to 4 and at least I know what to expect. Sun is shinning so off for a short run with my Dob.

Good on you. It makes all the difference when things look up and something happens to make us feel good, doesn't it. I'm currently feeling pretty good too, and have reached 6mg for the first time with no problem. My energy level is also good, not fatigued and weary like some of the reductions last year. Let's fully appreciate the things that are going right.

Yeah, good for you. I hope the good feeling lasts or even gets better as you continue to taper. I'm about 4 months behind you on the taper, and I look forward to getting down to 5.

I felt pretty flat when I woke up today. I overdid the walking a little yesterday, and also I did an Actemra injection. Sometimes Actemra makes me feel tired the next day. I still went out and walked 3 and a half miles, and while I was out I did 6 jogs of about 30 seconds each. While I was doing those jogs I felt better running than I had in probably more than a year. I think that while I've had PMR and GCA, I've been braced for impact whenever I ran, trying to protect myself (I run mainly on asphalt). Today it was like my body all of a sudden knew how to run again, so running felt great.
