I've only been on the Abx once but for 18 months. After 6 months on the Big 3 I was still positive for MAI so my doctor took me off rifampin and replaced it with Arikayce. He also wanted me on clofazimine but I declined. I converted to negative after 2 months and then of course took the 3 of them for another year. Negative now and working really hard to keep it that way!

Declined clofazimine and you did just fine. Again, we also have to be a big part of the decision making for ourselves.
Sorry I again read the other post and now have this question.
Did you mean they said they wouldn't treat the apergillus but yes they will treat the MAC and just with the antibiotics for treating MAC...... it took care of both MAC and apergillus?
