Thanks. I took it one night and had restless legs and agitation at night and the next morning I was ravenous and felt like a zombie (very groggy/dizzy/fatigued). I stopped at one pill as I cannot afford to gain more weight. I am now trying the combination of Wellbutrin/Bupropion and Zoloft/Sertraline. I have been told that this combination works well for some. I’m hopeful and a bit desperate at this point. I’m not sure what to do if this does not work. I’m curious if anyone has had any luck with herbal supplements or alternative therapies for major depression. I have read that St. John’s Wort is helpful.

I mentioned earlier that Mirtazapine was very difficult for me to take, the side effects outweighed whatever benefits it might have had. Many years ago I tried St. John’s wort and I found it quite helpful so I stayed on it for about 2 years, unfortunately I started getting side effects and I had to stop. I read that Wellbutrin was not a medication that caused weight gain and that’s a plus because many people have stopped their medication due to weight gain.

I think this is a good combination of medications. Wellbutrin helps make the Zoloft work better and adding Buspar can’t hurt.
Good luck.
