Most antidepressants are known to cause some weight gain but if they’re helping you then it’s worth it, once you’ve adjusted to the medication you can always take steps to control your weight.
No wonder why I was so voraciously hungry and eating all the time.

Thanks. I took it one night and had restless legs and agitation at night and the next morning I was ravenous and felt like a zombie (very groggy/dizzy/fatigued). I stopped at one pill as I cannot afford to gain more weight. I am now trying the combination of Wellbutrin/Bupropion and Zoloft/Sertraline. I have been told that this combination works well for some. I’m hopeful and a bit desperate at this point. I’m not sure what to do if this does not work. I’m curious if anyone has had any luck with herbal supplements or alternative therapies for major depression. I have read that St. John’s Wort is helpful.
