I had a upper endoscopy 3 days ago and was sent a procedure report,

Normally you wouldn't worry too much about the color of the mucosa but with Barrettes you need annual endoscopies.
My mucosa has changed to an irregular patchy dark tan which is abnormal because it should be nice and pink. However my pathology report came back good.

Thanks for your response, I've had Barretts for probably 25 years and I get endoscopies every 3 yrs now but this is the first time I have been given this kind of report and it even shows photos of my esophagus (gross) anyhow I was concerned and results of the biopsy won't be back for a while.
