Happy to pray for both of you in my daily prayers.

Rose,

I hope your husband’s TURBT went well and that he is beyond the discomfort of a catheter. I have had two sessions of Gemcitabine and Docetaxel. The first session was difficult for a myriad of reasons unrelated to the chemicals used. I had my second session yesterday. It was better. I am conferring with a consulting oncologist. I hope it will give me assistance in determining whether I have the right treatment plan. The literature suggests there is a high (65+%) chance of recurrence. I am looking beyond the chemo I am receiving to figure out if I have a physician with the right plan. My treating physician is peremptory; he is not one for answering questions. In fact, after the second TURBT, he called, said he had ordered chemo and that I would get a call from the infusion center. He didn’t tell me if the chemo was systemic or intravesical. He didn’t tell me what agents would be used, I emailed him through MyChart. His PA responded. It’s frustrating. But I have a plan. I have great support of family and friends. I get a lot of prayers. My wife is a saint. 🙏
