If you’re sedated, even better! That’s a nice, quick nap that I bet you haven’t had in several years if you have 5 children. It’s a very mild sedation so it doesn’t last long, you wake up refreshed and relaxed. Sometimes places offer juice and a little snack too. You’re going to get through this easy peasy.

It’s ok to be nervous about things when you’re not familiar with what to expect. But keep in mind, this may be your first time having a biopsy done, but it is not your care team’s first time. They’ll take good care of you.
From my experience, having the liver biopsy was way easier than having a baby! 😂
