What type of doctor do you see for this treatment?
Do you suggest taking it in place of drugs like Tymlos or in addition to them?
Do you know, can they alone reverse bone loss after 65 without taking them before age 65?
I have been told repeatedly by a number of specialists that HRT helps maintain bone but is not a potent bone builder. Also, anyone with cardiac issues who is 10 years past menopause needs to consider clotting and stroke risk. I'm not against HRT -- I'd like to use anything that would help build my bones. But I have severe osteoporosis, and HRT ain't gonna fix that.
This makes sense because I started to get low thyroid after I quit taking HRT.
Thank you for the information.
