How did you reduce hot flashes from Orgovyx?

My RO suggested I try Estroven which is an over the counter product for menopause! He said it would not interfere with my Lupron or Bicalutimide and to try it first before any prescription. You have to take it for about a month it says on the label. I’m starting week 3 and though I don’t notice much change in my hot flashes, which so far have been annoying but not terrible, I do think my mood has improved. There are two types, one just Estroven and one with ashwagondha. I bought the plain one but will probably try the one with ashawagodha next.

A study completed a few months ago, called the Patch study. It showed that taking estrogen in the right amount, using a patch, replaces Lupron and reduces the side effects. It has the exact same effect as Lupron on your testosterone. It also will give you back some of your desire for intimacy, which Lupron takes away

Using estradiol patches works great to replace Lupron. Talk to your doctor about this. There’s no reason you should be having Lupron as well, Maybe you just need slightly more estradiol.
