Certainly drinking too much coke isn’t good for the body but I’ve not heard anything associating excessive soda drinking to pancreatic cancer. I’m sure that would’ve been uncovered if that was a leading factor of getting the disease.

I'm not sure if you could blame Coca Cola specifically or "soda/pop" (everything is "coke" here in the South 😉 ) but there might be a link to high lifetime sugar consumption. Sudden-onset diabetes in adults is common in people with pancreatic cancer, but the jury seems to be out on which (if either) is cause/effect. It's hard to sort out because both are often diagnosed late (long after they've taken root).

As I mentioned a few pages ago, I probably did everything wrong in terms of diet and environmental exposure, and have an ATM mutation on top of all that. I was expecting colon cancer in my older years, but thought I was home free after a clean colonoscopy 7 years ago. The PDAC diagnosis 3.5 years ago really blindsided me.
