I'll look forward to hearing how it goes weaning off Lamotrigine. I've heard it can be hard and that it has to be slow with only small amounts decreased at one time. I tried to drop the dose by my docs instructions. He had me drop 25 mg (I take 150mg twice a day). I really hit bottom fast! It was almost scary so I vowed never to try that again. Since then I heard that was too large a dose to drop and it should be much less, like 10-15 mg and stay there for 2-3 weeks. Seems it would take forever but I'm now feeling like I want to wean off too. I know now to insist on very low dosages regardless of their suggestion. Good luck! Keep in touch!
