Thanks for the kinds words. I truly hope you pain problems are properly diagnosed and fixed. My injury happened in the fall of 1986. This lead to herniated disc then fusion of S1-L5-L4 with bone. Decades ago, Drs acted differently as mine came into the room to explain and tell me the future. I had pulled 5 groups of muscle (Strain) but turned it into scar tissue. I would have been better off to fall off a ladder or car accident!
The Dr told me in years when arthritis sets in, pain will return! It sure did after 2 decades of work and somewhat pain free. My GP, started with meds, then sent me to epidurals (X3) and had relief but less than 2 days. Next thing was RFA (radio frequency ablation) that didn’t last past the check clearing the bank! Then I am sent to the RFA Dr told have a SCS (spinal cord stimulator). I had 60-70% relief as a conservative report. Then an implant came and went down my legs into feet! I asked if the battery was backwards as pain is up lumbar not down legs. This I when they get stupid! They have a meeting to dream up a story tell convince the insurance company to pay them again and move electrode leads. Now nothing on left and 2” away from spine on right side! My GP told me they couldn’t remove one lead (Electrode) other drs said no reason they couldn’t remove lead, it just comes out. So 20hrs IV drip of ketamine for what I don’t know, but still paying cash to a family member for this. I have no clue but would guess it’s illegal here but not in Colorado! Now sent to Dr who was shocked no one injected sacrum - iliac joints! It worked but only bottom 1/3rd of back pain. It was actually great as I was free of 1/3rd of my pain. Now a pain pump! Great… But everyone I call, I sent history and images and they pass. The only one that will do it even with insurance wants $1,100 up front! What the hell? I found out this is for their check for 45 minutes of work on out patient and they send a bill to insurance at $60k. Where does it stop after 14 years of pursuing back pain relief? Money???

Did you get the pain pump? Did it work?

I'm not a recipient for a pain pump. My spine was worked on from my T1 -T12 and now it's naturally fused so I don't have room due to removal of tumor years ago. 1985. And now I have waited 8 years to find out why I have these new worsening symptoms. I have broke me foot few years ago. 4 bones still have problems. Using a walker but I try not to be dependant but I use it to travel thru house I was just using a cane. I live in VA and this extremely cold weather causes it to hurt terribly. Idk what my electric bill is going to be but I dread to see it. I have a little dog that keeps me company but she loves me and hates going outside. She likes being warm. Like me.

Will talk more later. I'm having a flare up so I hot to get up and walk or move.
