Hello, I never heard of Status Epileptics until I was diagnosed with it 3 years ago. I awoke in the ICU after having been put into an induced coma since the seizure would not stop with medical help and I was getting worse quickly. SE seizures are dangerous because they do not stop own their own and the longer your in the seizure the chances of a good outcome are nil. I'm very lucky my partner happened to be with me just at those times I went into the seizures. Status Epilepticus is an emergency and its very important to get help ASAP because every second is very important. Ive never spoken to anyone with SE but think it would be nice to.

Take care never to be alone if you have this condition. My son passed away from it in 2012. His father was in the living room sleeping when he woke up he found him and called the paramedics but it was too late.
