What should one with collagenous colitis eat to avoid flare-ups?

Ditto! I thought I'd ask GI Dr. to decrease dose to 1 Budesonide daily but had a flare. Now 2 daily won't stop liquid stools.
Will drop gluten or dairy products for a while, then switch. Then try grinding food in blender. (This worked for a week recently, but I will not take a food grinder to a restaurant.)...
So frustrating... 🙁
Sorry others deal with this health issue.

go to Microscopiccolitisfoundation.org It is quite a helpful website. Wayne Persky has a blog, a monthly newsletter, etc.
Collagenous colitis is a subtype of Microscopic Colitis. You can see some information on mayoclinic.org under 'microscopic colitis'.
