Is it okay to microwave nebulizer or in baby bottle sterilizer?

Scoop,
How did you test the temperature? I have not used any sterilizer yet, but for my upcoming trip, I plan to. It would give me peace of mind if I can know how hot the water in the sterilizer gets. If I use the meat thermometer, then the lid can't be closed.

I stuck the therm probe through the slits in the top and did not remove the top. A remote therm helps (like one of the ones you use in the oven with a wire cord).
