If in Texas head for Houston/Dallas/Baylor.....big teaching institutions. Emory in Atlanta. This should receive immediate and competent physician attention.

I believe that teaching hospitals are the best place to go but stay vigilant. The issue with teaching hospitals is the abundance of very young residents & staff just out of college & in-training. Many simply do not have enough practicing experience yet. After all, that is why they are called “teaching” hospitals. Never just assume. Always ask or do your own research.
