What is your experience with Lamotrigine? Side effects?

How quickly did you wean off of the lamotrigine? I was placed on it over a year ago for treatment resistant depression and anxiety. It does not work!
I would like to get off of it completely. Can you help, please?

I am currently on 100 mg in am and at night. I speak to my doc on January 30th and I am going to tell him I want to completely wean off of this ineffective medication for my anxiety and depression. When I start to wean I will follow up on this site.
