@formisc you might want to get a copy of "Great Bones" by McCormick. There is a section on how to transition from Prolia to a bisphosphonate (usually Reclast) by using the CTX bone marker testing. McCormick does consultations ($350) but it might be a good idea to get an endocrinologist to discuss your situation with.

Thanks, windyshores. If I am not wrong, McCormick concentrates on using CTX tests to ensure that bone turnover does not go too high during the relay stage but does not cover the situation where CTX is very low. I may ask my PCP for an endocrinologist referral but am wary that most endocrinologists are pro-Osteo meds
