@biga282 Weight loss and throwing up such as she has experienced, is not normal for a dialysis patient. Please remember I am not a medical professional. I cannot give and should not give medical advice. In my thoughts, this needs to be addressed now rather than later. A weight loss may indicate something more serious, besides the strain it is putting on her body. You're right, the lymph node cancer may be a factor; have you checked with her care team on that? Has she found anything that will allow her to not have a vomiting session? Is she able to hydrate herself with water or fluids?

My heart goes out to her!

She says her care team is aware of what is going on. Her nephrologist adjusts her fluid for the peritoneal dialysis to try to control her throwing up. She takes Zofran to help. She does hydrate as much as she can. She just told me maybe the Labetalol or Losartan is causing her to throw up. Thanks so much for your concern I appreciate it!
