It’s a small risk but well worth it. I had RNY bypass in 2016. Weight 320 to 170. Don’t consider gastric lap band Everyone I know had complications after a brief time
You might try wegovy or monjauro first

I tried ozempic and trulicity and ended up with gastroparesis and was extremely ill. After watching some short videos I was leaning towards RNY or sleeve.
