Anyone tried using red light therapy?

Posted by domokane @domokane, Jul 29, 2023

There seems to be some evidence that photobiomodulation - heating the skin via infra red light - has some benefits for stimulating nerve re growth. There are lots of devices available on Amazon as well as lots of seemingly expensive treatments provided by chiropractors.

I would be interested to know of any personal experience with such devices and any possible recommendations.

Hi. Starting and going slow is suppose to be the way to start..your system could have been overwhelmed.. were you in one that is designed like a tanning bed.. bottom and top comes down over you.. do you know what strength lights you had etc etc …depending on light strength probably start at 5 min max.. and work up very slowly… If it was in a place that does this and charges ..they should have talked with you about this..

First time in a sauna? Be sure you drink plenty of Coconut Water which has adequate minerals before you get in. Only stay 5 to 7 min the first time. Increase by 3-4 min each time u get into the infrared sauna well hydrated. My blood pressure fell a lot when I got out of one the first time bc I wasn’t well hydrated with
water and minerals.
