Myofascial Pain Syndrome Suspected

My pain was caused by a lifting accident, started in lower back, then spread (sciatica) through both hips and down legs over a 4 month period. It was only when I went to a pain doctor that myofascial pain was diagnosed. 4-6 weeks of manual PT, plus cortizone shots in SI have relieved most of the pain present. However, still don't know if corticosteroid shots will be needed forever. Lumbar MRI did not reveal bulging discs, but will meet with neurosurgeon next month to get his opinion. While I was in pain, Salon Pas helped just a little, but Tylenol Muscle Pain was more helpful on a temporary basis.

I take the 8-hour Tylenol for my muscle spasm. It's a good drug and doesn't upset my stomach! It takes a while for it to start working, I wish I could figure a way around the wait....
