I had same problems with stinging burning at battery site. After replacing 1st and putting 2nd in dr decided to check me for metals allergy . I'm one of the "lucky" ones with a contact allergy to Titanium and im allergic to gallium which is in batteries. Had to have battery removed. Dr left implant and leads in and now the leads are migrating. The pain....malaria. it's horrid.

@randijones571 I just had a Boston Scientific stimulator put in Tuesday. Did you have a lot of itching I think I might be allergic to the tape maybe the staples maybe I need to get tested

Have the leads removed. I am to have the SCS removed next month, along with the paddles, same type of transfer system with pain control of a SCS.
I am pleased, as the paddles give off an "ache" a constant burning pain at the mid-spine. When performing in sports or cooking with much time on my feet, the pain is serious, and I need to rest or have my husband massage the pain, which helps some.
