Has anyone seen a sudden onset of seizures in an adult?

Thanks! We were in ER with a focal seizure in his leg...nothing since then but not feeling well today so not sure what to expect. Yes, it was a bit easier when they were 8! 🙂 Just gotta be there for them and pray for the best!! Keep your chin up!

I can say the same situation for myself. First one wasn’t until 46 and two at 48 have had the 30 min EEG twice and nothing had the 48 hr at home EEG and neurologist said I had waves on the left and right side but that’s all. The waves will affect mood and memory lol. Sorry just funny to me. Also had an MRI with a T3 machine and showed nothing which is good but still no answers. They say the brain is the hardest thing to diagnose unless there is something visible. So now have a diagnoses of Epilepsy with no history or cause. I hope you get better answers than I received. May I ask when the seizure took place? Mine was all in my sleep even wearing a CPAP machine. I take a seizure med daily now I wish you luck.
