I was driving locally after 2 weeks, about 6 weeks before I was confident on expressways. Just made a 1500 mile road trip hauling a camper where I did half the driving at 10 weeks.

I was writing carefully by placing the pad at the edge of the table after 2 weeks (sling on) - I could manage about 10-15 minutes at a time. I was typing on a portable keyboard at the edge of the table after 3 weeks - before that it was one-handed. I was doing basic watercolor painting at 3 weeks - very slow, but fulfilling.

At 12 weeks I can wash and comb my hair, apply makeup, cook...but still no lifting over 1-2 lbs, and limited outward rotation of arm except in therapy.

Still icing after PT and after any extensive use of arm - only pain/tenderness is where they shaved of bone spurs - the ache and burn with weather changes or when I'm tired. Handling this with ice & tylenol.
