Thank you very much! I have to agree with you on your take on this. Thank you for your well wishes, too. I'm being as careful as I can. As you mentioned, don't go barefoot, wear good shoes, and be patient. I don't believe I will go back to racquetball, which caused the injury. I have gone golfing again recently and I avoid movements that would stretch my foot. Again, thank you for your responses! Have a great year!

Have you tried the fascia stretches? I do believe they help. If they cause more pain, then stop doing them. I didn't see the one on here where you simply hold your foot out and gently pull only the BIG toe, pull back release and repeat gently. You can feel the pull on the fascia. There are probably more of these on Youtube. Do ONLY what you feel comfortable with.

It takes patience with PF. I felt like I was walking on glass when I would get up in the mornings and after sitting for a while and standing up again. I had to walk through the pain.
