Jan 31st will be 2 years since my non nerve sparing RARP

Incontinence has been very minimal (maybe 3 or 4 ml per 24 hours) but my bigger issue is that of urge. I have been occasionally using oxybutynin but I try to limit its use due to the cognition issues and I'm not really sure it helps all that much anyway.

I only get up 2 (sometimes 3) times overnight and generally relieve myself every 2 to 3 hours during the day.

Does anyone have real world experience with bladder retraining?

Two different drugs that reduce urgency are Gemtesa and Myrbetriq. I have noticed no side effects at all from Myrbetriq twice a day. I used to wake up more than once in the middle of the night, thinking I had to go, I don’t have that problem anymore

How long have you been taking Myrbetriq? I'm concerned about cognitive issues with ANY drug used to treat OAB

I’ve been on Myrbetriq For about six months. I take a lot of pills and have had absolutely no issues with Myrbetriq. One thing I have noticed, however, that is different, is that my stools are now solid with no loose stool. This is sort of a positive side effect for me, I’ve had some minor diarrhea for years.

Thanks, I'll speak with my urologist about it
