Bile Acid Malabsorption - who all has this problem?

It called bile salt diarrhea post gallbladder removal.
Colestid is great at keeping it under control.
Normally when our body gets used to not having gallbladder to remove bile then it starts filtering through the liver over time.
I have pancreatic insufficiency post Covid. I take Colestid and pancreatic enzymes, 4 before every meal and at bedtime. It does get annoying taking so many pills 🤷♀️ but it's worth not going to the bathroom 10-15 times a day

@cheryl46 have you also been diagnosed with pancreatitis? I am pretty sure I have bam along with epi which I take Creon two with each meal one with a snack. I have read that medications for bam and also cause pancreatic flares I am in between GI doctors right now I'm going to see a pancreatic specialist in 2 weeks the Creon was working great for the first 6 weeks now I'm back to having severe bile diarrhea. Just curious if you were also diagnosed with chronic or episodes of acute pancreatitis?
