Hi Ella89,
I don't know about the Magnesium you are taking, but I have been taking Triple Magnesium Complex for several years without any side effects. The Triple Magnesium has 400 mg of each different type of Magnesium -- Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium Citrate and Magnesium Aspartate. I don't remember, right now, which does what, but I know I take this at night about one hour prior to being ready to go to bed and it relaxes me and helps me to get a good sound sleep, and upon arising it also helps to keep my bowels regular, which I take some medication for stomach flare-ups that can really constipate. The third Magnesium helps with preventing the ungodly, painful charlie horses I get from time-to-time when working in the yard and not drinking enough or not getting enough electrolytes to keep things balanced in my body.

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Triple Magnesium Complex! It’s interesting to hear how the combination of different magnesium types works for you. I can definitely relate to the need for relaxation and better sleep—I’ve found magnesium glycinate really helps me wind down at night without any stomach discomfort.

It’s also good to know that the magnesium helps with muscle cramps and regularity for you. I’ve heard similar things from others who deal with charlie horses or constipation issues. It seems like magnesium is such a versatile supplement for so many body functions.

Out of curiosity, have you noticed if one type of magnesium in your blend works better for certain issues than the others? I’ve been exploring options to balance better sleep support with muscle recovery.

Thanks again for the insight—it’s always helpful to hear what’s working for others!
