Things are progressing per the plan. Melphalan and Cytoxan were my problem child’s. Fever and the usual diarrhea. Once they ruled out cdiff, the meds are working well to put me back on track. Follow there instructions on freezing your mouth. I’ve not had any mouth sores yet. Hint: there is a Rita’s Italian Ice at Bell and Tatum.

I’ve not found parking to be an issue. It really depends on which of the buildings you are going to. I’ve never had to park in any of the north side lots. They have golf cart shuttles if you do.

Hi @rv10. Thought it was time to check in with you! How are you feeling a couple weeks post transplant?

I never had a single problem in my mouth after freezing it up. Down the road i used the mouthwash they had me use in the hospital. To keep moisture in. Biotine I think it is called.
I got the cup of ice and popsicles. I was in the hospital 25 days. Anything works to keep your mouth frozen and the Melphalan and Cytoxan out.
rv10- It is good to hear the transplant team is right there. Please keep us informed and updated. I am day 294 past transplant and feel really good. Water, exercise and eating good. Today, a little too many sweets..... I made pumpkin/Choc Chip muffins. Yum.

Hi @rv10. It’s been a little over a month since your BMT transplant and time to check in with you. How’s it going?
