Spinal Cord Compression Symptoms from A Benign Tumor

@hatman

I have had spine surgery 3 times I have a benign tumor embedded in my spinal cord. Dr say they can’t remove it. My last surgery was in 2018. I had one in May of 2018 and the spinal fluid did not seal up. I finally had another surgery in December to seal up the fluid. They took part of my lat muscle to cover the spine so if it leaked again the lat muscle would contain it. The problem I have right now is my right leg is getting very weak and loss of balance and feeling.
Is there anything out there that can help

@hatman Welcome to Connect. Have you discussed the leg weakness with your surgeon? Something that comes to my mind is that you’ll have scar tissue from your surgeries and scar tissue can get tight. There is a physical therapy called myofascial release that can stretch out tight scars. We have a discussion in the Neuropathy Group on Myofascial Release.
