Some conditions like my CRPS Type 2 actually Cause Anxiety, Depression, Panic and PTSD. As I'm not familiar with the Maio PRC I was just wondering how far they would go to treat my CRPS if I was ever lucky enough to attend their program some day. Best of Luck getting control of those muscle spasms.

Hello, @creyn51. It's tough to say because Mayo PRC doesn't necessarily treat the person's diagnosis as much as it treats the person's mental health physical health and Behavioral Health by means of Rehabilitation.

As @aprilchristy mentions in her previous comment above, it isn't always one size fits all. I think each person gets out of it what they put into it and chooses to take with them towards their chronic pain Journey, if that makes sense. And like April says, she has taken away many tools that have been helpful from the program but she still continues on in different directions.

Here's a link with information on Mayo Clinic's pain Rehabilitation Center. They do address conditions that are treated at the PRC. I'm not sure that CRPS is one of them, but would suggest giving them a call directly and asking their opinion.

It's common for debilitating conditions to cause anxiety depression and panic which is why the program is beneficial for providing management tools to help with acceptance and coping for example. I'm sorry you're struggling. Do you mind sharing a bit of your journey , what ways have you been treating CRPS or helping yourself cope?
